A Message from Kelly, JASC Director of Organizing

A message from Kelly

Dear Caucus Leaders,

I wanted to share bittersweet news that I will be leaving my position at JASC at the end of the month! I’ll be moving to New York to keep organizing at Community Voices Heard, an ally of JASC! 

Jane Addams Senior Caucus has been my organizing home for 9 years and I am so proud of the work that we have done together. The members and staff – and all that was won and lost during this time – have fundamentally changed who I am and will be with me forever. I am so grateful to this organization and its leadership. 

I look forward to still being in the fight together with JASC seniors and know that I will be reading the news about all the power that you are building to ensure that seniors can age with dignity. 

Saskia and the rest of the team will work to hire a new organizing director and I will look forward to helping them transition into this role when they are hired!
